Ae Reekin Auld Burn’s Supper wi’ the Chinn-Schickeles
As part of a newly formed tradition (as of 2008) of getting together at one another’s house each month for a night of food and festivities, Corin, Renee, Matt, Hai-Ting, Alissa and yours truly started the year off right with a Burn’s supper at Matt and Hai-Ting’s place.
What’s a Burn’s Supper? That’s a fine question. You can read all about it here, but basically it is a Scottish tradition celebrating the life and memory of the great Scots poet, Robert Burns, through song, poetry, whisky, and haggis. Sounds great doesn’t it?
Left: A haggis goes well with a song and a glass o’ whisky
