John and Alissa Tromp through Europe

 
 

Alissa and I were lucky enough to be able to take a 3-week vacation in Europe this summer, after her choral gig at the Verbier Music Festival in Switzerland.  We met up at the Geneva airport, rented a car, and took off.  We rambled through Europe, never driving more than a two or three hours at a time.  In 3 weeks we drove around 1500 miles, but it seemed like we covered a lot more ground, visiting 4 countries.   We made our way through the French Alps, the Italian Alps, and then up into Burgundy.  Then we drove over to Alsace and up into Germany, then back down through Switzerland to Geneva.  Check out our pictures HERE.
